I don't think there is a better lake in MO than Truman for big fish. There could be some small lakes that can produce some big slabs also. But for the bigger lakes Truman is a great one.

A lot will depend on water color. Hard to beat something with Chart. Dirtier water I like Blk/Chart and Blk/Pink. Cleaner water White/Chart and Yellow/Chart.

No to sure what to post yet since I am the only one from ohio so far. Fishing is good here. Ohio river has some monster catfish. Have pulled 3 over 60lbs out of there. Just to get a pic up, here is a nice bass I caught last year.

most people say 60 degrees but I catch more when its a tad bit warmer
